about
This song was written during a tour of the south right after hurricane Harvey, we saw the devastation and began to read about natural disasters and their impacts. We came across the tragedy around the Yangtze river flooding in China and found inspiration in the story of the townspeople who chose to stay when the city was flooded. We wanted this song to be a reflection of the peace and comfort you find in your hometown and the power behind natural disasters when the two worlds collide.
