When you leave for tour, it's exciting and stressful. It feels as if your body is being pulled in all directions, both physically and mentally. There are so many moving pieces and at a point you have to let it wash over you. Once you leave, things get quiet and your mind gets focused on the task at hand. You forget the feeling and get into a flow. Then it all ramps back up when you have the realization you’ll be home in a matter of days and you’re not sure why you were worried in the first place. It's a song about appreciating where you are and the feeling of coming home.
